Baked Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

Pork chops

Caraway seeds; crushed

White wine; dry

Garlic clove; minced

Hungarian paprika; mild *
Pepper; as desired

Sour cream (optional)

Directions

  1. * Use only Hungarian mild Paprika.
  2. It is available at most larger stores and at specialty shops. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++ Place the pork chops in an ovenproof casserole.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients, except sour cream, and pour over the chops.
  4. Marinate the chops 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator.
  5. Bake the chops, uncovered, in the marinade in a preheated 325 degree F. oven for 1 hour or until tender.
  6. Add more wine if necessary.
  7. Stir sour cream into pan juices and heat through but DO NOT boil.
  8. Serve chops with sour-cream gravy and buttered noodles or dumplings.
