Chicken With Plum Sauce Recipe

Directions

  1. Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a bowl mix together wine, catsup, 2 tablespoons plum sauce, salt and sugar.
  3. Add chicken and marinate at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
  4. Heat wok or skillet over high heat.
  5. Add oil.
  6. Stir-fry chicken until almost cooked, about 1 minute.
  7. Add chicken broth and remaining 1 tablespoon plum sauce.
  8. Simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Blend cornstarch and water mixture and add to pan.
  10. Simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce is thickened and translucent.
