Chicken Sticks Recipe

Ingredients

Oil for deep frying - Batter ---

Pinch of soda

Cold water

Directions

  1. To make wings look like drumsticks, cut off wing tips; break off joint from middle section and large section.
  2. Remove small bone from middle section.
  3. Pull meat inside out.
  4. Push all meat from large section to end of bones until it looks like a drumstick.
  5. Use knife to get the meat away from the bones if necessary.
  6. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  7. Coat with flower.
  8. Mix all dry batter ingredients; then add water.
  9. Stir well.
  10. Heat oil to 400 degrees in wok.
  11. Dip floured sticks, no more than 6 at a time, in batter.
  12. Deep fry sticks until lightly brown.
