Oil for deep frying - Batter ---

Pinch of soda

Cold water
Directions
- To make wings look like drumsticks, cut off wing tips; break off joint from middle section and large section.
- Remove small bone from middle section.
- Pull meat inside out.
- Push all meat from large section to end of bones until it looks like a drumstick.
- Use knife to get the meat away from the bones if necessary.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Coat with flower.
- Mix all dry batter ingredients; then add water.
- Stir well.
- Heat oil to 400 degrees in wok.
- Dip floured sticks, no more than 6 at a time, in batter.
- Deep fry sticks until lightly brown.
